Job description

Receptionist Position

The receptionist manages our front desk on a daily basis and performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As the first point of contact for our company, the receptionist plays a key role in making a positive impression on our visitors and providing essential support across the organization.

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.

• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.

• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.

• Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures).

• Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.

• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.

• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (e.g., monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).

• Arrange travel and accommodations.

• Ensure all work areas and communal spaces are well-maintained and stocked.

• Manage vendor relationships related to office services and supplies.

• Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.

• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
