Office Services Management

The Cardiovascular Medicine Division at the University of Utah seeks a leader in Administration/Office Services Management. This role blends administrative leadership, operations, and people support to keep Cardiovascular Medicine running smoothly. Direct/Manage/Supervise administrative and office services. Serve as the resource for employees in office-related needs. Lead staff and delegate office duties, including the following. Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes. Reinforce University culture, morale, and engagement. Coordinate office events, team activities, and communication. Provided leadership in meeting planning, accounting support, reception, payroll, facilities, maintenance, supply management, and various back-office functions. Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation while overseeing and ensuring the efficiency of office operations. Ensures compliance with University policies and regulatory requirements. Manage calendars, meetings, agendas, and minutes. Maintain daily and weekly reports and submit to appropriate personnel. Manage vendor and service provider relationships. May be responsible for managing the office budget, negotiating contracts and prices with office vendors, and serving as a general point person. First-level manager. Manages the activities of supervisors and/or individual contributors. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated vaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior to the first day of work.
