Role Description

We're looking for a Full-Time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to be the warm, capable first impression of San Simeon Travel ~ on-site in Cambria, CA. You'll be at the center of the action:

  • Welcoming clients and handling calls and emails with polish
  • Sharing accurate booking details with guests
  • Keeping agent schedules running smoothly
  • Managing client invoicing and itinerary data entry
  • Handling basic accounts payable and commission collections
  • Keeping records sharp and well-organized
  • Partnering with the team to keep operations seamless
  • Preparing travel documents and assisting with client insurance claims
  • Making sure the office is stocked, organized, and running like clockwork


Qualifications

  • A natural communicator - comfortable and polished whether you're greeting a client in person, answering the phone, or replying to an email.
  • Tech-savvy enough to navigate everyday office software, and quick to pick up new reservation or booking systems.
  • Organized and unflappable - you can juggle multiple schedules and tasks without letting the details slip.
  • Meticulous with the little things: accurate data entry, polished document prep, and careful handling of payments.
  • Able to work on-site in beautiful Cambria, CA.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a background in reception, hospitality, travel, or office administration is a definite plus.
  • A warm, professional presence and a genuine commitment to welcoming and respectful service for every guest and colleague, without exception.
