About the role, Your Impact
Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Stormwater Engineer III in our St. Augustine Florida office.
What your day-to-day will look like
  • Design of municipal drainage systems, hydraulic studies, pumping stations, pavement, and local roadways.
  • Land Development design of private commercial sites, residential subdivisions, recreation sites and institutional sites.
  • Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvements and stormwater collection systems.
  • Performing analyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
  • Preparing stormwater master plan reports and preliminary engineering reports.
  • Meetings and coordination with municipal, county, and state clients.
  • Obtaining permits related to stormwater management.
  • Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county, and state clients.
  • Assist other project engineers as needed during project delivery.

Education Requirement
  • B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida (or transfer from another state) is required.

Must-haves, what you will bring
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Modeling experience using ICPR4 and SWMM.
  • Experience and knowledge of regulatory agency requirements pertaining to land development including stormwater design.
  • Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation).
  • Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation The pay range for this role is $100,000-$130,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
