Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform all physical or administrative duties involved in purchasing, shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
The physical aspects of the job may involve heavy lifting and use of a forklift.
Essential Functions:
  • In-depth Oracle transaction or ERP process knowledge.
  • Active participation on the processes of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and cost reduction.
  • Able to multitask with multiple shipments and issues at the same time.
  • Help manage and control importations support required to meet customer sales order and customer commitments/expectation.
  • Help manage and control the required transportation of finished goods and raw material, including data entry requirements, document filing and reports.
  • Control operation and issues related to Foreign Trade.
  • Receive and review, authorize invoices from logistic vendors and carriers (On time).
  • Cross functional communication.
  • Deliver proactively statistical information required by Management and customers
  • Help manage all aspects of freight forwarder relationships.
  • Manage and track critical inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Research dangerous goods regulations and prepare the Shippers Declaration of Dangerous Goods.
  • Prepare, print, assemble and execute Miscellaneous Shipping Orders (MSO; also referred to as manual/ Straight Bill of Lading) documentation for domestic and international plant support shipments in compliance with all applicable company and regulatory standards.
  • Work with material planners, commodity managers and internal teams as needed to ensure smooth customs clearance/ pre-clearance of any imported or exported materials.

  • Strong organizational skill in term of details and follow up, all with accuracy and On Time.
  • Ability to comprehend commercial documents, related to import/export/ land transportation.
  • Expertise in foreign trade and import/export management -INCOTERMS. (Preferred)
  • Dangerous and Hazardous Materials Certification. (Preferred)
  • Dangerous Goods Handling experience
  • Working knowledge of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, supervisors, customers, vendors, and employees
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with employees, customers, vendors, managers.
  • Ability to prepare written reports and other documents
  • Advanced computer skills, including the use of Windows, e-mail and Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel.
