Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods into our warehouse, ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

Duties

  • Oversee the receiving process for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantities and product specifications.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely.
  • Perform order picking and packing duties as needed to fulfill customer orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods using RF scanners and MRP systems.
  • Collaborate with the shipping department to coordinate outbound logistics and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Assist in the organization of the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency in stocking and retrieval.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential, with a strong background in shipping & receiving operations.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus.
