A Receipt Checker is responsible for reviewing customers' receipts and verifying their purchased items before they leave the store. This role helps prevent theft, ensures accurate transactions, and improves customer service by resolving discrepancies. Receipt Checkers typically work at retail stores, warehouses, or membership-based retailers. They must have attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
As a Receipt Checker, your primary responsibility will be verifying customer receipts against purchased items as customers exit a store, ensuring accuracy and preventing loss. You may also be required to monitor exits, interact with customers to resolve any discrepancies, and report suspicious activity to loss prevention teams or management. This role often involves standing for extended periods and requires keen observation skills.
