Position Summary
This Assistant District Attorney position is a full-time position to be filled in the District Attorney's office for Waupaca County, located in beautiful Waupaca, WI. This is a State position in the unclassified service. This position has an anticipated start date of Monday, October 6, 2025
Join our office in time for Winter Rec Fest and the annual Candlelight Snowshoe Hike at Hartman Creek State Park! Visit the Iola Winter Sports Club for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ski jumping (as a participant or spectator with several USSA sanctioned events), or skijoring. Stay in Waupaca for summer fun on the Chain O' Lakes where you'll find the same bright blue water that you might expect to see in an exotic place like Fiji. Hot summers and cold drinks on the docks of your favorite restaurants, Waupaca is the ultimate getaway for many, but you can call it home!
Salary Information
The starting salary for the position will be $78,686 annually ($37.83 per hour).
Job Details
Attorneys who are currently employed by the State of Wisconsin are invited to apply and may be able to transfer at their current pay rate. Attorneys who have left the position of Wisconsin elected District Attorney or Assistant District Attorney within the last five years may be able to be hired at a wage rate above the minimum.
Qualifications
Only attorneys who have been admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin may be hired.
