Job description

  • Operates and maintains the shear line
    • Responsible for inspection of entire machine to ensure working properly
    • Responsible for repairs when needed
    • Responsible for cleaning the entire shear line(back and front), and clean rebar and excess wire
  • Maintain appropriate safe capacity of the big dumpsters and roll dumpsters
  • Ensures that all 'helpers' are compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Assist with crane and other equipment as needed
  • Responsible for Identifying materials and reading tags and customer information

  • Ability to perform simple math problems
  • At least 2 years as an apprentice helper
  • Ability to operate crane
  • Ability to work with others and help train others
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to work overtime
  • Able to work in shop conditions
