Do real estate agents work in teams?

Many real estate agents work in teams to share responsibilities, pool resources, and provide better client service. Team structures can vary, with some agents collaborating closely and others working independently within a brokerage. Effective teamwork often involves communication skills and knowledge of real estate tools and processes.

What is the difference between Realtor Teams vs Real Estate Agents?

Realtor Teams are groups of licensed real estate agents working together under a common brand, often with specialized roles, providing comprehensive client services. Real Estate Agents may work solo or in small groups, focusing on individual client needs. The main difference lies in team collaboration and structure, with Realtor Teams offering a more coordinated approach.

How much money do you make on a real estate team?

Realtor teams typically earn a percentage of the commissions from sales they close, often splitting earnings among team members. The total income varies based on sales volume, commission rates, and team structure, with top-performing teams earning six-figure incomes or more annually. Income can also depend on experience, market conditions, and individual performance.

How do realtor teams work?

Realtor teams consist of multiple real estate agents who collaborate to serve clients, often dividing responsibilities such as lead generation, showings, and negotiations. Team members typically share resources, tools, and branding, allowing for increased efficiency and broader client coverage. Successful teams often have designated roles and clear communication to coordinate efforts effectively.

How much does a realtor make off of a $300,000 house?

Realtor teams typically earn a commission of around 5-6% of the home's sale price, so on a $300,000 house, they would earn approximately $15,000 to $18,000. This commission is usually split between the buyer's and seller's agents, with each agent or team receiving a portion based on their agreement and the brokerage's policies.

Job description

Join The Inbound Lead Division At The Haus Group

The Haus Group is hiring Realtors for its inbound lead division serving Maryland and the broader DMV Metro Area.

This role is designed for agents who want access to live buyer and seller connections, ISA support, daily coaching, strong administrative infrastructure, and a team system built around conversion.

Led by Omar Flores, The Haus Group helps agents turn high-intent opportunities into appointments, clients, and closings.

The Opportunity

The inbound lead division is powered by multiple lead sources, including:

  1. Zillow Preferred
  2. Google Pay Per Click
  3. Realtor.com
  4. zBuyer
  5. Seller lead funnels
  6. Online lead generation channels

The team generates 200+ live Zillow connections per month team-wide.

Full-time agents can expect approximately 10–20 live Zillow connections per month. Part-time agents may receive 0–10 depending on availability and performance expectations.

What Makes This Different

Inbound leads are not enough.

Agents receive access to:

  1. Follow Up Boss CRM
  2. Fello
  3. YLOPO
  4. Zoodealio

  8. Dedicated offer-writing support
  9. Social media marketing support
  10. Admin support
  11. Daily coaching with Bill Pipes
  12. Monday Motivationals
  13. Thursday Haus Training
  14. Real Estate First Fridays
Training Accountability

New agents begin with a two-week training process covering team systems, Zillow onboarding, Zillow lead handling, forms, tools, and expectations.

Agents also complete LPT’s 3-day bootcamp and LPT orientation.

Full-time agents are expected to participate in accountability calls twice per week to review KPIs and stay focused on the activities that drive production.

Markets Served

The Haus Group serves:

  1. Rockville
  2. Columbia
  3. Silver Spring
  4. Hyattsville
  5. Baltimore
  6. Hagerstown
  7. Montgomery County
  8. Prince George’s County
  9. Howard County
  10. Frederick County
  11. Anne Arundel County
  12. The broader DMV Metro Area between DC and Baltimore

Agents must be part of Bright MLS.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for Realtors who are:

  1. Licensed and ready to grow
  2. Fast to respond to inbound opportunities
  3. Strong with follow-up or committed to improving
  4. Coachable and accountable
  5. Comfortable working buyer and seller conversations
  6. Willing to attend training and track KPIs
  7. Interested in the Maryland and DMV markets
  8. Serious about building a long-term real estate business
