Job description

Based in New York, NY with 3 offices across the region, we are a well-established full-service law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated transactional real estate matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner who values leasing work client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to commercial leasing and real estate transactional matters
  • Draft lease agreements purchase agreements financing documents and related transactional documents with accuracy and efficiency
  • Represent clients in negotiations closings workouts and other real estate proceedings including landlord tenant and distressed asset matters
  • Manage an assigned transaction portfolio independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex or high-value matters


Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active New Jersey license in good standing (New York Bar admission a plus)
  • 4+ years of real estate law experience with significant leasing experience required
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with drafting negotiation analytical skills and electronic document platforms preferred
