POSITION SCOPE

We are seeking a full-time Manager for our Real Estate Valuation Practice.

Our services include valuation, tax, engineering, and financial consulting for the purposes of financial reporting, tax reporting, property insurance, transaction advisory, litigation support, and financing.

A Real Estate Valuation Manager in Advisory Services works within a team environment to assist in providing real estate valuation, consulting and other advisory services to clients of all types.

Successful candidates will be analytical self-starters who embrace the academic and pragmatic elements of valuation in the context of transactions. In addition, they will enjoy an entrepreneurial and collegial environment where passion for learning about new business models and industries will be rewarded.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Serve as the lead on engagements and interact directly with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the training, development, and mentoring of junior staff.
  • Collect, manipulate and analyze property, financial and market data.
  • Prepare written communications of both qualitative and quantitative research results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop valuation models for a variety of assignment types.
  • Present valuation analyses and conclusions internally and externally.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field, from an accredited college or university.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of, or progress toward, real estate industry certification.
  • A solid understanding of real estate valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
  • Prior experience in financial reporting valuation.
  • Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional work ethic with the ability to master new tasks quickly.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel.
  • Ability to encourage team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel.
  • Executive presence and ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements.
  • Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels.
