Job Description

X-energy is seeking a dynamic Real Estate Project Manager to support our growing infrastructure needs as we expand our operations. This role will be instrumental in launching new office locations and managing multiple concurrent micro-projects within the Facilities department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong project management skills while maintaining attention to detail across various facility initiatives. This position requires flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to support new office buildouts and ensure successful facility launches.


Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage new office launch projects from initial planning through commissioning and occupancy
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and landlords to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage multiple concurrent micro-projects including office renovations, space reconfigurations, equipment installations, and facility improvements
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for facility initiatives
  • Travel to new and existing office locations to oversee construction progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure quality standards
  • Coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) procurement, delivery, and installation for new offices
  • Ensure all facility projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and X-energy standards
  • Manage project budgets and track expenditures, providing regular financial updates to leadership
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, change orders, and closeout documentation
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues promptly
  • Support the Facilities team with space planning, workplace strategy, and operational improvements
  • Coordinate IT infrastructure, security systems, and building services for new locations
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for facility services
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Profile Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Typically demonstrated by 10 plus yrs of relevent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in facilities, construction, or real estate
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong understanding of office buildout processes, construction methodologies, and facility operations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Ability to travel frequently (up to 40-50%) to support new office launches and project oversight locally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license

Job Profile Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or related experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing construction or cooperate real estate development projects

Work Site Expectations: 5 days in office
Travel Expectations: Up to 40% - 50% as needed for project assignment locally

Compensation

Offers within the posted salary range are commensurate with the individual's qualifications for the position, along with a view on internal equity, market data, and room for growth. The salary range for this position is:
