Our client, a leading public accounting and advisory firm recognized as a Great Place to Work®, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Supervisor to join its growing Real Estate and Affordable Housing practice in Brookfield.

This is more than a traditional public accounting role.

It's an opportunity to become a key advisor to affordable housing developers, ownership groups, real estate operators, syndicators, and nonprofit organizations while leading sophisticated assurance, tax, and advisory engagements focused on the affordable housing and real estate sectors.

As a Supervisor, you'll serve as a primary client contact, mentor developing professionals, and continue building specialized expertise in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) entities, partnership taxation, and affordable housing compliance.

Key Responsibilities Real Estate & Affordable Housing Engagements
  • Lead complex audit, review, compilation, and tax engagements
  • Coordinate engagement planning, staffing, and scheduling
  • Review financial statements, disclosures, tax returns, and supporting documentation
  • Evaluate internal controls and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure engagements are completed efficiently and within budget
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Build strong relationships with ownership groups, developers, and management companies
  • Lead client meetings and engagement discussions
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical guidance
  • Deliver exceptional client service and responsiveness
Affordable Housing & LIHTC Support
  • Assist clients with affordable housing compliance requirements
  • Support LIHTC-related reporting and accounting matters
  • Review partnership structures and tax reporting issues

Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise, mentor, and train staff accountants and seniors

Qualifications Required
