The Senior Manager, Estimating, drives construction cost control through budgeting, negotiating, contract review and change order management while ensuring compliance with strategic plans. Additionally, the role fosters team development, promotes ethical standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to advance business objectives and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across multiple projects.

The team leads real estate project estimation and negotiation across a regional portfolio, collaborating with internal and external partners to align on scope, schedule, and budget. They manage complex project details, including design coordination and market analysis, to support informed decision-making. This group drives effective communication with leadership and stakeholders, ensuring accurate budgeting and risk mitigation. Focused on delivering strategic real estate solutions, the team emphasizes strong project management, business negotiation, and portfolio oversight to achieve operational excellence and support company objectives in real estate development and construction management.
What you'll do:
  • Develop estimates on retail, special projects and industrial projects in the portfolio.
  • Review quotes from Vendors to understand completeness, costs, and opportunity.
  • Observe trends across the program and bring awareness to the team providing insight, consistency and develop cross functional solutions where needed.
  • Assist in managing the implementation of change into the program by providing cost guidance.
  • Provide insight to Partners on cost drivers and work on solutions to mitigate future spend.
  • Coordinate and work with teams for the best possible design for installation, cost, and use of building practices.
