Real Estate Strategy & Analytics Associate

Job Description Summary

The Associate plays a critical role in supporting the creation, development, and execution of clients' real estate portfolio strategies. This position supports efforts to design and implement tools necessary to effectively manage overall portfolio performance and activity.
Serving as a key liaison with client stakeholders, including client leaders and the portfolio management team, to ensure the successful delivery of real estate services. This role is responsible for overseeing strategy execution, conducting analyses, and collaborating with senior leadership to develop and present actionable findings and recommendations.
Working cross-functionally, the Associate partners with team members throughout the full project lifecycle-from initial ideation and strategic planning to the development and delivery of final client presentations. The role requires strong communication and advanced presentation skills, with the ability to produce and deliver high-quality materials appropriate for senior management and executive-level audiences.

Job Description

General:

  • Oversee portfolio plans with client real estate goals and objectives in mind
  • Working with team members, to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, and then organize data into logical communication and clear visualization as part of client presentation materials
  • Support client projects from scope definition through strategy delivery. Ability to customize approaches to evolve with business needs.
  • Ability to understand and interpret data to provide conclusions of analysis. Identifying portfolio trends, consolidation, and other savings opportunities.
  • Develop analytical modeling and other quantitative projections. Tracks and reports on transaction outcomes, cycle times, and financial impacts to support continuous improvement and transparency.
  • Build effective client relationships to help the team meet or exceed client needs
  • Review and ensure that all analyses delivered to the team and clients are accurate and meet deadlines
  • Use superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively impact client outcomes
  • Support and contribute to a collaborative, teamwork environment

Process Management:

  • Implement standardized processes that create maximum efficiencies
  • Support client Portfolio Management Team to drive effective oversight and decision making

Strategic Planning:

  • Support the development of strategic plans and provide strategic real estate advice to clients
  • As required perform deeper market or site level analysis supporting long-term planning efforts

EXPERIENCE:

  • University Degree and/or College Diploma
  • 5 yearsof data and analytics experience required
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, and other database systems as required
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in leading Real Estate Strategy preferable
