A premier global law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, institutional investors, REITs, private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, and major commercial real estate owners in sophisticated real estate transactions.

Ideal Background
  • 3โ€“6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
  • Experience representing developers, institutional investors, REITs, private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, and real estate investment funds
  • Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leasing, joint ventures, and financing transactions
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, development agreements, operating agreements, easements, reciprocal easement agreements, and joint venture agreements
  • Experience reviewing title, survey, zoning, environmental reports, and other real estate due diligence materials
  • Experience supporting real estate finance, private equity, project finance, mergers & acquisitions, and other complex transactions involving commercial real estate assets
  • Experience with office, mixed-use, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, life sciences, energy infrastructure, or data center developments is a plus
