We specialize in helping individuals and families facing challenges related to mental health, ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to the care they need. With a commitment to client-centered treatment, we strive to create a safe space for healing and growth.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while you engage with clients via virtual platforms. However, occasional visits to our outpatient office in San Jose may be required for team meetings, training, and professional development. Our collaborative and supportive work culture prioritizes mental health and work-life balance, fostering an environment where staff members feel empowered to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the emotional and psychological needs of clients, developing personalized treatment plans based on these evaluations.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective counseling for individuals, couples, and families.
  • Engage in group therapy sessions, facilitating discussion and support among participants to strengthen coping strategies and emotional resilience.
  • Document and maintain meticulous clinical records in accordance with legal standards, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to provide integrated care, supporting clients in achieving their mental health goals.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, attending workshops and training to stay informed on the latest mental health research and innovations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Our focus is on providing services to those with limited access to traditional mental health care, ensuring that all individuals—regardless of background—receive understanding, empathy, and effective treatment. Your ability to connect meaningfully with clients will play a crucial role in their healing journeys.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted LPCC licensure in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling or mental health setting.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and relevant technological tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.
  • Experience working as part of a healthcare team, contributing to a collaborative, integrated approach to client care.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range of USD $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including dental, vision, and health insurance.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage and access to client referrals.
  • Assistance with billing and documentation to reduce administrative burden and enhance your focus on client care.
  • Generous sign-on bonus for qualified LPCC candidates upon joining the team.
