ULTRASOUND TECH III

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Tech III provides patient care services utilizing ultrasound equipment to provide general diagnostic ultrasound, and one additional modality in compliance with regulatory requirements; also responsible for also responsible for image and data generation for physician evaluation, teaching and coaching ultrasound students,  patient transport and schedule coordination and assisting with  administrative support of the department. 

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Patient care in hospital setting
  • Ability to perform exams to the standards outlines by the hospitals protocols
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and take call  as needed
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Basic computer skills

Licensure and Certification:

  • ARDMS or CCI credential in one modality and skills/competency of one additional modality.
  • Current BLS provider card

Education:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent

Experience:

  • Experienced in all general ultrasound exams and one additional modality
  • One additional modality if vascular
    • Vascular experience in all vascular exams
  • One additional modality if Echo
    • Echo experience in Adult echocardiograms including with contrast, TEE, and stress echo
