Fabrication Welder (MIG & TIG)

Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $23+/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Opening

LINK Staffing is seeking an experienced Fabrication Welder for a manufacturing facility in the Houston area. This position requires a skilled welder with 5+ years of both MIG and TIG welding experience and a strong background in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, fit and assemble components, and produce high-quality welds with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural steel and fabricated metal components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding specifications
  • Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials according to project requirements
  • Fabricate and modify metal parts using hand tools and fabrication equipment
  • Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy
  • Operate grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of MIG welding experience
  • 5+ years of TIG welding experience
  • Strong fabrication and structural welding background
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Experience fitting, assembling, and welding metal components
  • Proficiency with measuring tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment
  • Ability to work independently and produce quality work
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
