Job description

Job Summary:
1872 Consulting is dedicated to simplifying pet care through a modern platform for small pet services businesses. They are seeking a Lead React Native Engineer to drive the development of new mobile app features and enhance customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
• Own what you build as you architect, and test mobile app for business and pet parents
• Collaborate on projects spanning the full spectrum of the platform
• Work closely with our Founder to understand customer pain points, come up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and deploy
• Build a simple, beautiful, intuitive product that our customers genuinely love
• Hang with our office pups
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of experience in React Native or similar framework
• 3+ years of full-time work experience in React Native or similar framework
• Proficient in React, React Native, and Redux
• Experience architecting and building commercial apps, released in both the App Store and Play Store
• Strong mobile development experience, including integration with Native Modules and custom iOS/Android SDKs
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, get-stuff-done attitude
• Self-motivated with excellent work ethic
• Team player with strong communication skills and capable of working cross-functionally
• Superb problem solver with strong critical thinking skills, who loves rolling up your sleeves to build things on your own but also know when to ask for help
• Passionate about creating memorable, delightful experiences for customers, who may come from all walks of life
