Job Description We are seeking a Forward Deployed Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-impact team building mission-critical applications deployed to U.S. submarines and maritime systems. This role is for a versatile engineer who obsesses over front-end polish, query performance, and the seamless integration of real-time streaming data into operator-facing interfaces. Primary Responsibilities • Build out application components and pages using TypeScript, React, and modern front-end frameworks (Next.js, TailwindCSS). • Implement high-performance rendering workflows for historical and real-time data feeds utilizing WebGPU. • Design and develop scalable data models using Postgres, Apache Iceberg, and related database technologies. • Modify and maintain real-time data pipelines (MQTT, Redpanda) and offline batch processing pipelines (Dagster). • Integrate machine learning models and advanced algorithms directly into user-facing web applications. • Optimize the development lifecycle by improving local environments and CI/CD workflows using modern tooling and GitHub Actions. • Maintain rigorous code quality with a fanatical focus on linting, formatting, static typing, and high test coverage. Required Skills Required Experience • Active Secret Security Clearance. • 4+ years of Full-Stack Software Engineering experience with a strong balance of front-end polish and back-end logic. • Mastery of TypeScript, React, Next.js, and advanced state management (React Context, GraphQL, REST APIs). • Solid experience with Node.js, SQL/PostgreSQL, and Python workflows. • Functional knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Desired Skills Preferred Experience • Experience with IoT devices, sensors, or digital signal processing (DSP). • Background in geospatial analysis (GIS) or working within complex monorepos.
