Senior React Native Engineer (Hybrid) About the role

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile solutions that support healthcare payer operations and enhance user experiences across platforms. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and cross-functional technology teams

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade mobile applications using React Native and JavaScript.
  • Build scalable, maintainable, and reusable mobile solutions that align with enterprise engineering standards and business objectives.
  • Partner with product, business, and UX teams to translate healthcare payer requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
  • Drive application performance, reliability, and security through best practices in mobile development, networking, testing, and deployment.
  • Mentor engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and promote technical excellence across the mobile development lifecycle
Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Atlanta, Georgia. What you need to have to be considered
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on mobile application development in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced expertise in React Native and JavaScript, including cross-platform application design, state management, and native integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile networking frameworks, API integrations, performance optimization, and secure data exchange.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, including claims, member services, and payment-related workflows.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with distributed teams.
This will help you stand out
  • Experience defining mobile development standards and engineering best practices.
  • Knowledge of mobile application security, compliance, and data protection requirements within healthcare environments.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,337 to $ 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
