Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET/React - Airline Mobile Experience Project)
12-month contract (Potential for Extension)
Remote - Pacific Time Hours
Position Summary:
Our major airline client based in the Seattle area is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a new mobile-focused initiative within the Business Products organization for an improved corporate client travel booking experience. This consultant will help enhance and expand the mobile experience for both small business and enterprise customers while working closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is a senior-level engineer who can operate independently, gather requirements from stakeholders, recommend technical solutions, and contribute across the entire software development lifecycle. This role requires someone with strong mobile and front-end expertise while maintaining full-stack development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop customer-facing mobile and web application features.
  • Build and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and APIs within Azure utilizing C#/.NET.
  • Create seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to define requirements and create technical solutions.
  • Convert emerging business requirements into actionable stories and sprint-ready work items.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Contribute across front-end, back-end, integration, and cloud development efforts.
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and drive solutions through resolution.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight while collaborating effectively within established Agile teams.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve code quality and productivity.

Required Qualifications:
  • Senior-level Full Stack Software Development experience.
  • Strong modern front-end and mobile-focused web development expertise functional on iOS and Android.
  • Experience developing applications using .NET and C#.
  • Hands-on Azure experience including:
    • API Management (APIM)
    • App Services
    • Storage Services
    • Queue Services
    • Other Azure cloud-native technologies
  • Experience working directly with Product and UX teams to define requirements and solutions.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to Have Qualifications:
  • Experience with SvelteKit and Node.js.
  • Native iOS development experience using SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
  • Native Android development experience using Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Experience with Auth0 or similar authentication and authorization platforms.
  • Experience building customer-facing enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting both enterprise users and self-service customer experiences.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Airline, travel, or transportation industry experience is a plus.
