Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Lead Front End Developer to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves leading a team of UI developers to create cutting-edge traffic management software while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a user-friendly experience.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a small team of experienced UI developers and contribute to development of next-generation central traffic management software, incorporating customer requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owner, UX Designers and Architects to design and implement a modern and user-friendly browser frontend
• Participate in UX process and requirements refinement
• Contribute to product success and excel with a dynamic team in a highly collaborative environment
• Ensure software quality at all levels through test automation development
• Leverage AI coding assistants for high productivity, test coverage and quality code output
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience designing and implementing React browser frontends
• MUST have proven experience leading a team
• Demonstrated experience with software patterns and React application design best practices
• Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript and React
• React Material UI experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Microservice architecture experience
• Experience using REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
• Dedication to software quality
• Experience writing automated unit tests
