Job description

The Reach Truck Operator plays a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations by expertly handling reach trucks and electric Sit-Down Forklifts. This position involves safely moving, stacking, putting away, and picking product while ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met. The operator works as part of a team, supporting inventory management through monthly physical counts, and uses RF Scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Stand-Up Reach Trucks, and High Reach Trucks to put-away and pick orders for inventory storage and order fulfillment processes
  • Operate Electric Sit-Down Forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and stage pallets
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are correct and free of damage
  • Maintain and update inventory records; conduct monthly physical inventory counts
  • Use RF Scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS) for data entry and inventory tracking
  • Assist with put-away, order picking, shipping and receiving, and loading/unloading operations

Required Qualifications

  • Proven & Recent Operating experience with a Stand-Up Reach Truck
  • Proven Operating experience with a High-Reach (Camera on the Front)
  • Minimum 4 years of Sit-Down Forklift experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Electric Pallet Jack Experience
  • Experience in warehouse operations including put-away, order picking, shipping & receiving, and loading/unloading

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Distribution or Logistics environments
