Position: A Registered Dietitian (RD) or (RDN)

Part time: In person clinic role (Not Remote)

Position Summary

A Registered Dietitian (RD) or (RDN) plays a key role in supporting patients through their Medi-Weightloss journey by providing Medi-Weightloss–specific, evidence-based nutrition education, lifestyle coaching, and accountability—while also driving program enrollment and retention through a consultative, sales-focused approach.

All coaching and counseling are delivered exclusively using Medi-Weightloss® clinical protocols and methodologies, under the direction of licensed medical providers.

The ideal candidate is sales-driven, patient-focused, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Coaching & Care Support

· Provide one-on-one coaching focused on nutrition, behavior change, lifestyle modification, and goal setting within physician-directed weight loss programs.

· Educate patients on meal planning, portion control, supplementation, and program compliance based on clinic protocols.

· Monitor patient progress, review metrics (weight, body composition, adherence), and adjust coaching strategies accordingly.

· Deliver a high-touch patient experience that supports long-term success, retention, and satisfaction.

· Utilize consultative selling techniques to recommend appropriate services, packages, and add-ons based on patient goals.

· Consistently meet or exceed individual and clinic sales KPIs, including enrollments, upgrades, ancillary sales and retention.

· Support promotional campaigns, referral initiatives, and community outreach efforts as assigned.

Administrative & Clerical Duties

· Accurately document patient interactions, progress notes, and program details in the electronic medical record (EMR).

· Schedule appointments, manage follow-ups, and assist with front-desk coverage as needed.

· Process payments, explain packages, and ensure accurate completion of consent forms and required documentation.

· Maintain organized patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

Technology & Systems Utilization

· Proficiently use EMR systems, scheduling software, CRM tools, and clinic communication platforms.

· Track sales performance, patient outcomes, and follow-up tasks using clinic reporting tools.

· Utilize basic office technology (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, email, tablets, scanners, payment systems).

Team & Clinic Support

· Collaborate closely with medical providers, clinic managers, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

· Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and performance improvement initiatives.

· Support clinic operations, new patient onboarding, and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

· A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Background in Weight loss, GLP1 injections and HRT preferred.

· Strong sales background with demonstrated success in consultative, KPI-driven sales (healthcare, wellness, fitness, or medical aesthetics preferred).

· Minimum of 1–2 years of clerical, administrative, or front-office experience in a medical or customer-facing environment.

· Proficiency with EMR systems, scheduling software, CRM tools, and standard office technology.

· Ability to work within Chandler scope-of-practice, providing nutrition education and wellness coaching

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in a Medi-Weightloss or physician-supervised weight management clinic and weight-loss medications.

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred, not required.

· Knowledge of behavior change principles, motivational interviewing, or lifestyle medicine.
