ARDMS Cardiovascular Sonographer
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Day Shift
A respected healthcare system in west-central Texas is looking to recruit a Cardiovascular Sonographer for a full-time, day shift role. In this position, you will play a critical role in performing high-quality cardiovascular diagnostic exams and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ultrasound Exams: Perform cardiovascular ultrasound exams, including adult echocardiograms, vascular assessments, and other diagnostic procedures, following physician instructions and departmental protocols.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate preliminary reports for physician review and maintain accurate, detailed electronic documentation of procedures.
  • Communication: Relay critical findings promptly to cardiologists and referring physicians to ensure timely patient care.
  • Professional Development: Maintain ARDMS certification and actively pursue Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunities to stay current with advancements in the field.
ARDMS Cardiovascular Sonographer Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year of on-the-job training or completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Certifications: Must obtain RDCS, RCS (Adult Echo), RVT, or RVS certification within one year of hire. CPR certification required.
