Job description

Founded in early 2021, Ibility is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and a Woman-Owned Small Business, headquartered in Gaithersburg, MD. Ibility is a small but mighty company that is positioned for rapid growth. Simply put, we help government leaders to achieve their mission by designing creative products and programs that delight their customers and make their employees more efficient - building trust and improving overall satisfaction. We use human-centered design principles in every engagement because we believe the end-user is critical to the long-term success of any solution. Our team is fun, passionate, bold, and creative. We live our mission every day - to inspire people, create cool stuff, and make a lasting impact on the world!
Position Description:
Ibility is seeking an experienced Senior Interface Testing Analyst to support a large Federal customer. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience testing interfaces between Momentum Financials and external systems. Experience performing business analysis, interface analysis, or development for Momentum interfaces is strongly preferred.
Working closely with the Testing Lead, functional teams, interface developers, Government stakeholders, and external vendors, the Senior Interface Testing Analyst will develop test cases and scripts, execute iterative testing following configuration changes or the development or modification of interfaces, document results, and identify, document, and escalate defects. This role will involve validating interface functionality and development progress throughout the implementation lifecycle and will also support formal testing events, such as System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively, take ownership of assigned activities, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet project deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Testing Lead, Government stakeholders, interface development teams, functional teams, and external vendors to plan and conduct iterative interface testing and support the analysis, resolution, retesting, and closure of defects.
• Review requirements, user stories, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), business process flows, data mappings, and technical diagrams to understand interface functionality and define test coverage.
• Review, develop, and update test plans, test cases, and scripts for new or modified interfaces, including positive and negative test scenarios.
• Execute interface testing following configuration changes or development. Validate inbound or outbound file transfers, data mappings, transformations, business rules, error handling, and processing results between Momentum Financials and external systems.
• Use the Momentum Financials front end and database to validate interface processing, transaction results, record counts, control totals, data accuracy, and reconciliation results. Develop or coordinate test data needed to support interface test scenarios.
• Document test evidence and results, maintain and prioritize the defect log, support defect retesting and closure, and prepare testing status and summary reports.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 years of total professional experience, including experience working with Momentum Financials or another enterprise resource planning system.
• 4 years of related testing experience, including developing and executing test scripts, documenting test results and evidence, identifying defects, and supporting defect resolution and retesting.
• Demonstrated experience testing interfaces between an ERP application and external systems, including validating data mappings, file or message processing, business rules, error handling, and expected system results.
• Experience using Oracle SQL to query and analyze database records, validate interface processing and data accuracy, and support defect investigation.
• Experience reviewing requirements, user stories, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), data mappings, business process flows, or technical diagrams to develop interface test scenarios and scripts.
• Knowledge of Federal financial business processes and an understanding of testing strategies, methodologies, defect management, and iterative or progressive integration testing.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document test results, defects, risks, and testing status for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Government stakeholders, developers, functional teams, and external vendors in a challenging, high-visibility environment.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting programs or projects for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Experience using Agility, Jira, or similar tools to manage requirements, test cases, defects, and testing progress.
• Experience using SoapUI to test web services, APIs, or system interfaces.
• Experience serving as a business analyst or interface analyst for the development or modification of interfaces, including gathering requirements, reviewing data mappings, supporting design decisions, and coordinating with technical and functional teams.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an iterative development and testing environment.
Benefits:
• Health, Dental, and Vision Plans
• Short Term Disability / Long Term Disability / Life Insurance / Accidental Death and Dismemberment
• Health Savings Account
• Unlimited Paid Time Off
• 11 Federal Holidays Off
• 401k
