Job description

Movers are responsible for actively participating in all aspects of commercial and residential moving projects. At RCS our Movers are critical ambassadors to our customers. Movers work in physically demanding roles. Each member of our team must show up every day ready to work hard. Our days are planned meticulously to ensure we have the resources we need to get the job done. It is critical to show up on time as expected. While at work we expect our people to be “masters of communication” with Operational Leadership. Movers are expected to champion all phases of each job while upholding RCS standards regardless of the project type. Professional & courteous relationships with our customers set RCS apart in our industry.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 100lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Reliable and dependable

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to thrive on a team


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial or residential moving

• Previous safety training (PPE/Safe Lifting etc.)

• Prior customer service experience


Responsibilities:

• Lifting, carrying, load/unload, packing/unpacking

• Disassemble and reassemble furniture, fixtures and other equipment

• Furniture installation and placement as directed

• Communicate critical information to customers and quickly address their concerns

• Follow all safety policies and procedures (PPE/Safe Lifting etc.)

• Report incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately

• Daily completion of administrative duties (timesheets/job documentation)
