Job description

Part-Time Recruiter
RCR Consulting Group | Remote | Part-Time
About the Role
RCR Consulting Group is hiring a Part-Time Full Life-Cycle Recruiter to join our growing HR Consulting team. In this role, you won't just fill seats — you'll own your requisitions from start to finish. We're looking for a self-directed recruiting professional who thrives with autonomy, takes genuine ownership of their req load, and brings a consultative mindset to every search.
Our team supports a diverse portfolio of clients spanning industries such as Solar, Manufacturing, IT, Transportation, Logistics, Property Management, Mental Health, Government Contracting, and more. No two client environments are the same — each comes with its own culture, interview process, hiring pace, and talent landscape. Your ability to assess each client's unique needs, tailor your recruiting approach accordingly, and make proactive recommendations is what sets great performance apart here.
This is a fully remote, permanent part-time position working Monday through Friday. Hours will typically range between 10-15 per week; however, due to the natural ebb and flow of client hiring activity, hours may occasionally run lighter or increase beyond that range. We need someone with the flexibility to adapt as business demands shift. Prior experience working successfully in a remote environment is required.
We are seeking a recruiter committed to RCR long-term — this is not a transitional role or a supplement to other employment.

What You'll Own
  • Full life-cycle recruiting for multiple clients across diverse industries, managing each req with ownership and accountability from kickoff through offer acceptance
  • Developing, revising, and posting job descriptions tailored to each client's specific hiring needs and industry context
  • Screening candidates through resume review, phone screens, and initial video interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Customizing your sourcing and interview coordination approach to match each client's process — no two searches will look alike, and that's by design
  • Scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring managers with timely, clear communication
  • Facilitating hiring manager feedback sessions and delivering informed recommendations to move searches forward
  • Maintaining strong candidate engagement throughout the process — providing consistent communication, updates, and a positive experience at every touchpoint
  • Drafting and extending offers in alignment with compensation guidelines and client policies
  • Conducting reference checks and partnering with HR consultants and coordinators on background checks and onboarding
  • Leveraging various ATS and HRIS platforms to track candidate progress, maintain accurate records, and report on pipeline activity
  • Building trusted relationships with hiring managers and providing guidance on market trends, talent strategy, and process improvements
  • Staying current on recruiting best practices, employment law, and industry trends
  • Managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment — pivoting quickly as client needs, priorities, and hiring conditions evolve

What You Bring
  • 4+ years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and drive searches forward without heavy oversight
  • Proven adaptability — you've recruited across multiple industries or client environments and know how to shift your approach based on context
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and adjusting priorities as client needs change
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in a fully remote setting
  • Proficiency with ATS and HRIS platforms
  • BA/BS in Human Resources or related field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
  • $20.00–$25.00 per hour
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • 401(k) with matching
  • Professional development assistance
