We are seeking an experienced BICSI RCDD Engineer to support the design, planning, and execution of telecommunications and electronic security system projects. This role is responsible for developing structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure designs, supporting field implementation, and ensuring projects meet client requirements, industry standards, and operational objectives.
The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in structured cabling, fiber optics, networking, and integrated security systems, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, project teams, and field personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structured cabling, telecommunications, and low voltage/security system infrastructure.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with BICSI standards, applicable codes, and industry best practices.
- Support the integration of communications and security systems, including:
- Structured cabling
- Fiber optic infrastructure
- Access control systems
- Video surveillance (CCTV)
- Intrusion detection systems
- Conduct site surveys, field inspections, and project assessments.
- Provide technical guidance to project managers, installation teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to support successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and implementation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and as-built records.

Qualifications:
- Current BICSI RCDD certification required.
- 2–5 years of experience supporting low-voltage, telecommunications, or electronic security system projects.
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, networking fundamentals, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficiency with CAD and related design software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with estimating, proposals, and change order management.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Experience with BIM modeling and design platforms, including Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience supporting federal, transportation, aviation, or critical infrastructure projects is a plus.
