Razi information

What is a razi?

The term 'Razi' does not refer to a specific job title in modern professional contexts. Historically, 'Razi' is often associated with scholars or individuals from the city of Ray (or Rey) in Iran, such as the famous polymath Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi. If you are referring to a specific profession or role by 'Razi,' please provide more context. Otherwise, it is not recognized as a standard job title.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a razi, and why are they important?

I'm sorry, but 'Razi' is not recognized as a real-world professional occupation and therefore I cannot generate a relevant response.

Job description

About Razi Research Partners

Razi Research Partners is a Twin Cities based clinical research company focused on bringing sponsored trials directly into community and independent medical practices, particularly those serving diverse and immigrant patient populations across the metro area. We are named after Al-Razi, the physician and scholar, and rooted in the communities we serve. Our work is about making sure patients who are often left out of research have access to the same treatment options as everyone else, through the clinics they already trust.
Opportunity Type

Razi Research Partners is seeking a physician who owns, leads, or practices within a clinic with access to an active patient population and appropriate space to support clinical research activities.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity structured as a clinical research partnership. This opportunity is designed for physicians who are interested in offering clinical trial access to their patients without building a research program from scratch. Razi Research Partners supports study coordination, regulatory documentation, sponsor communication, recruitment support, monitor visit coordination, and day to day research operations. The physician’s primary role is to provide medical oversight, support participant safety, review eligibility and study related clinical information, and ensure appropriate PI oversight in accordance with the protocol, GCP, IRB requirements, and applicable regulations.

What this actually looks like for you

You keep seeing your patients. We bring the research to you.

Razi Research Partners handles everything on the research side, study coordination, regulatory documentation, sponsor communication, monitor visits, recruitment support, and day to day trial administration. Your role is medical oversight. A few extra hours a week at most, working out of your existing clinic, with your existing patients.

No new office. No new staff. No research infrastructure to build from scratch.

Physicians who partner with Razi get access to sponsored clinical trials matched to their patient population, additional income generated through their existing practice, and the ability to offer patients treatment options that aren't available anywhere else.

Who this is a good fit for

You own, lead, or practice within a clinic that has an active patient panel. You're based in the Twin Cities or surrounding Minnesota communities. Your specialty is in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, gastroenterology, pulmonology, or a related field. You're interested in expanding what you can offer your patients without overhauling your practice to do it.

Prior research experience is not required. We work with physicians who are new to clinical trials and those who have done it before.

For the clinic space, studies typically need a dedicated exam room for research visits and a small area for a monitor during periodic visits, roughly once every four to eight weeks per study. We evaluate this together during an initial site visit.

Your role

Medical oversight is the core of what you do. That means staying on top of participant safety, reviewing labs and adverse events, confirming the protocol is being followed, and signing off on safety reports. Before your first patient is even enrolled, the time commitment is minimal, a few hours for initial paperwork and regulatory setup. Once patients are enrolled, your time scales with volume, and the daily work stays with Razi.

You are not doing paperwork. You are not chasing sponsors. You are not managing coordinators. That is our job.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor arrangement. Compensation is tied to the study budget provided by the sponsor and structured around your specific role, clinic contribution, and the studies we pursue together. Details are discussed during the introductory conversation. There are no upfront costs or fees to the physician or clinic.

Application / Next Steps

  • Physicians interested in learning more are invited to schedule a brief introductory conversation with Razi Research Partners to discuss clinic fit, patient population, specialty area, and potential study opportunities.

Company Description

Razi Research Partners is a Twin Cities based clinical research LLC focused on expanding access to clinical trials in diverse and historically underrepresented communities. We partner with independent and community based medical practices, particularly those serving minority and underserved patient populations, to bring clinical research directly into the clinics patients already know and trust.
Our team supports the research operations, including study coordination, regulatory documentation, sponsor communication, patient recruitment support, study workflow management, and day to day trial administration, allowing physicians to participate in clinical research without taking on the full administrative burden.
