The ideal candidate possesses a combination of design, product and production support experience, electronics knowledge, and hands-on laboratory skills.

Raytheon analog and power design, product and production support engineering occurs in following areas:

• Power System Design - Power System Noise, System Simulation and Modeling, Solid State Transmitters, Tube Transmitters, High Voltage Design, Power Sources, Generators
• Power Conversion - AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC, Linear and Switching Supplies, Power Factor Correction (PFC), Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS), Resonant Circuits, Synchronization, Noise Controls
• Power Distribution - Ground, Air, Shipboard, and Space, Power Generation, Line Voltage, High Current, Low Voltage, Micro-Power, DC, AC, Multi-Phase Power Control, Fault Reporting, Isolation, Protection Circuits, Redundant Systems
• Power Sub-Sub System Design - Filters, Harmonic Control, EMI, Circuit Simulation, Magnetics, Protective Relay Systems, Short Circuit and Stress Analyses
• Control Systems - Servo Control Systems, Motor/Power/Process Control, Digital Feedback Systems, Command Generation, Inertial Stabilization, Navigation Algorithms

This is an onsite position at one of the following Massachusetts locations - Andover, Tewksbury or Marlborough. Location assignments will be made based on business or program need.

• Work closely with a team of engineers to develop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and Raytheon guidelines
• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and power design products. Provide support to production, integration, and test activities
• Gain greater mastery of analog and power engineering design
• Demonstrate self-motivation
• Travel to Marlborough, MA; Tewksbury, MA; Andover, MA; Woburn, MA; and/or Pelham, NH may be required depending on the assignment

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Education or Work experience in one of the following areas: Analog Electronics, Power Electronics/Systems, Power Distribution or Control Systems
• Experience with modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Hardware development experience
• Knowledge of test and production methods for electronics/power system components
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

• Relocation Eligibility: This position is eligible for relocation
• The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills
