This SkillBridge opportunity is with Raytheon.

To be eligible for a SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces

  • Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29.

  • Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.

  • Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.

Raytheon has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Test Engineer. This role will support all aspects of Digital & Analog design and test (amplifiers, filters, power supplies), and RF design and test as a member of a multi-disciplined engineering team.  The successful candidate will possess technical ability in the development and design of verification test capabilities, will also possess expertise in the specification, development, and troubleshooting of the associated test equipment; this includes supporting multiple military programs. 

What You Will Do

  • Training & mentorship opportunities include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform a wide variety of technical efforts including process, test, troubleshoot, and repair Digital, Analog, and RF equipment.

    • Observe, analyze, and report test data, perform tests, and utilize various engineering drawings, manuals, and other related documentation.

    • Assist in planning complex tests to evaluate equipment performance.

    • Use analytical tools to analyze and simulate hardware testing designs prior to program execution.

    • May also work on Analog, Digital, and High Voltage circuits.

    • Additionally, engage in training and mentorship opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge, supporting both professional growth and excellence in task execution.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education

  • 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting and testing RF, Digital and Analog circuitry

  • Experience with technical drawings.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Typically Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).

  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook/Zoom)

  • Experience with various test equipment, general purpose, and program specific test stations. Ability to analyze and develop Test Software and Test Procedures for Analog/Digital assemblies and subassemblies to fault isolate to component level
