Job description

Shift: 7:30pm-8:00am; 2 12-Hour Shifts a Week.

As an Emergency Department Technician, you’ll support our Registered Nurses and clinical team by providing hands-on patient care and assisting with essential tasks that ensure comfort, safety, and efficiency in a dynamic environment.   • Works closely with patients and provides them with basic, immediate care and comfort needs such as obtaining vitals (i.e. temperature, blood pressure, heart, and respiratory rate.
  • Cleaning and changing bedsheets, bathing, dressing, and toileting patients.
  • Building true emotional connections with patients.

Education:  

  • High school diploma or GED 

Experience:  

  • At least one year of clinical experience - Preferred 

License(s)/Certification(s):  

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) (preferred upon hire; required within 30 days)
