Triton Systems' Robotics and Anti-Tamper Group focuses on development of solutions in the areas of applied robotics, AI and ML solutions, weapons platform technologies, foreign object debris (FOD) removal and relocation, secure communications, radiation sensors and advanced guidance (position, navigation and timing (PNT)) to improvement operational capabilities, efficiencies and safety in complex and dangerous environments.
Position Summary
Our Advanced Technologies group is seeking a hands-on experienced Electrical Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on projects that span a wide range of research area. The work will vary and encompass commercial, military or medical technology projects. Innovation and technical problem solving will be a major part of your position along with the ability to work productively with a diverse team of researchers. Experience developing both hardware and software for embedded systems is highly desired.
Qualifications
  • Hands on experience prototyping hardware devices
  • Familiarity with schematic / PCB CAD tools.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with embedded microcontrollers (Nucleo, Arduino, Raspberry PI, PIC)
  • Experience using PCB design software (preferred Altium)
  • Experience developing application software for Windows, Android, Linux and LabVIEW environments.
  • Experience with programming languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, Tcl)
  • Familiarity with common communications protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, RS-232)
  • High degree of comfort working on early phase research projects.
  • Signal processing experience for commercial, medical or military applications a plus.

Education/Experience
  • 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent; Advanced Degree a plus
  • 5-7 years of experience in hardware or software development.
