Experienced ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care RN experience
  • Previous travel nurse experience required
  • Active Massachusetts RN license in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • CCRN certification required
  • Strong telemetry experience and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Experience managing dysrhythmias and high-acuity adult patients
  • Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
  • Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring preferred
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced critical care environment
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for critically ill adult patients in the ICU
  • Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses including COPD, ARDS, GI bleed, drug overdose, alcohol withdrawal, COVID, and select post-surgical cases
  • Care for ventilated patients, patients on pressors, arterial lines, and chest tubes
  • Interpret rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
  • Administer and monitor continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation
  • Collaborate with intensivists, nurse practitioners, rapid response teams, and interdisciplinary support staff
  • Maintain patient safety, clinical accuracy, teamwork, and effective communication in a critical care setting
