Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support riders and staff with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, public personnel, and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of bus terminals, depots, parking areas, platforms, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas for suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations, and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Assist with crowd management, queue observation, and/or directional support during peak travel periods, service disruptions, and special events while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
