Job description

EMI Services seeks to hire a Site Lead for the USAF ACC Primary Training Range contract at Poinsett EWR in SC to oversee daily operations and site personnel, as well as ensure safe operations and high-quality services. The Site Lead will act as the primary contractor authority for his/her location's Range Operations, Maintenance, and Compliance. The Site Lead will also manage training, security, and environmental programs, ensuring high-quality support to Air Combat Command and associated mission partners.

This position requires strong leadership, operational oversight experience, and the ability to coordinate closely with government representatives while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site contractor authority and point of contact for the Government.
  • Oversee daily range operations, maintenance activities, and administrative functions.
  • Ensure full compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations, environmental standards, and security protocols.
  • Lead and supervise site personnel, including hiring input, performance management, scheduling, and workforce development.
  • Manage and enforce range safety procedures and risk mitigation practices.
  • Coordinate training activities in support of Air Combatant Commands and tenant units.
  • Oversee environmental compliance programs in accordance with federal, state, and DoD regulations.
  • Ensure security procedures are implemented and maintained across the installation.
  • Monitor contract performance metrics and ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation as required by the Government.
  • Support inspections, audits, and evaluations conducted by government representatives.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with installation leadership and stakeholders.
