Job description

Position title: Multi Domain Operations SME

Location:ย NAB Coronado, CA

Clearance required: TOPย SECRET/SCI

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist with coordinatingย advancedย cyber, space, and EW trainingย and integration.
  • Maintainย up-to-date awareness on, and access to, intelligence reporting channels, intelligence storage locations, and intelligence analysis tools.
  • Replicate intelligence specific scenarios and prepare intelligence reports to support deployed theater of operations, and other lines of effort in an exercise environment.
  • Integrate with the scenario manager, Exercise Director, Information Operations Planner, analyst, and human terrain SME to ensure the IE is fully developed within the overall exercise scenario to support the tactical, strategic, and operational trainingย objectives.ย 
  • Develop training infrastructure to achieve IO related training objectives including coordinating enabling effects with joint partners.ย 
  • Coordinate support from throughout the DoD to include Joint Staff and Service Cyber/EW/Space program managers to leverage existing Programs of Record (POR) within the joint force capable of replicating peer capabilities and integrating threat information warfare, GPS jamming, contested /denied communications, EW, and offensive/defensive cyber operations.
  • Develop overarching exercise scenarios which provide a plausible environment for participants to meet trainingย objectives.
  • Responsible forย performing work independently with limited guidance.ย 
  • Assistย with supporting and arranging the briefing of IO plans and exercise development working groups, plan of action and milestone meetings, in-progress andย facilitatedย after actions reviews, distinguished visitors, etc.ย 
  • Assistย the IO Planner with asset management related to the execution of exercise events.
  • Identify and scriptย additionalย events to enhance the overall scenario.ย Provide scenario development information.
  • During exercise execution, track training audience responses to injects and aid lane graders with inputting feedback into the Exercise Directors tracking tool of choice.
  • Have a current TS/SCI Clearance and able to obtain a SOCRATEs account.
  • Possessย an understanding of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Space Operations and EW capabilities to include collections, analysis, and support to lethal and non-lethal targeting.ย 
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience coordinating, synchronizing, and executing Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Offensive/Defensive Cyber Operations, and Space Operations with Joint, Fleet, conventional forces, or COCOM.ย 
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of exercise experienceย utilizingย analytical, planning, and organizational tools to meet 100% of defined mission requirements.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working within Joint SOF Operational and Strategic environments.
  • Minimum of five (5) years professional experienceย utilizingย Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience analyzing or emulating adversary tradecraft and enemy threat systems.
  • Minimum ofย five (5) yearsย of experience as a government liaison, documented by successful coordination between range control, testing units, and acquisition teams.
  • Minimum of five (5) yearsย of experienceย of applied experience in RF theory, EW techniques (EA/EP/ES), SATCOM, and SIGINT tradecraft.
  • Minimum of five (5)ย yearsย of experienceย in cyber threat emulation and network effect integration within EMSO scenarios.
  • Minimum ofย five (5) yearsย of experience in a Red Team or OPFOR role, with a focus on crafting realistic adversary behaviors for training environments.
