Randstad has partnered with a high-volume manufacturing facility in the Morgan Hill area to find an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician II.

We don't need a parts-swapper. We need an autonomous, sharp-eyed technician who knows high-speed mechanical drives, complex hydraulics, pneumatic actuators, and PLC logic inside and out—someone who takes pride in keeping advanced automated production lines humming at top performance with minimal supervision.

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance in high-volume, automated production environments.

• Mechanical & Fluid Power Mastery: Deep expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding heavy conveyance systems, hydraulic power units, directional valves, and pneumatic logic.

• Electrical & PLC Savvy: Ability to read complex electrical schematics, use multimeters for high/low-voltage diagnostics, and perform PLC troubleshooting/programming analysis to clear line faults fast.

• CMMS & Tech Skills: Comfortable using CMMS software for daily work order tracking, equipment history logging, and spare parts management.

• Safety & Resilience: Mastery of Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols and 3S/5S standards, physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and readiness to support a 24/7 high-volume facility.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Diagnostics: Perform root-cause troubleshooting and rapid repairs on mechanical drives, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components.

• Controls & Electrical Repair: Isolate electrical issues, trace schematics, and analyze PLC logic to keep automated lines running smoothly.

• Preventative Maintenance: Execute structured predictive and preventative maintenance routines through the CMMS to eliminate unscheduled downtime.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with process engineers to analyze performance data, eliminate recurring equipment bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements.

• Parts & Safety Control: Track spare parts inventory, maintain an organized workspace, and enforce strict LOTO and safety practices across the shift.
