Job description

HIRING NOW - CSR Call Center Insurance

We are seeking detail-oriented, empathetic, and solution-focused Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your specialized healthcare and Medicare knowledge to handle complex insurance inquiries, educate members and providers, and deliver high-energy, high-quality service on every call.

***Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, or Virginia.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST OR 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Inquiry Resolution: Utilize creative problem-solving and critical thinking to analyze complex, ambiguous insurance questions and resolve inquiries on first contact.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly explain complex healthcare concepts, policies, and procedures to members, providers, and colleagues in both verbal and written form.
  • Record & Documentation: Accurately document detailed customer interactions, record corrective measures, and update claim or membership records as needed.
  • Stakeholder Support: Perform proactive outreach to business partners to resolve service issues and identify opportunities to promote self-service channels and health programs.
  • Quality & Compliance: Identify patterns of inconsistent claims practices, interface with government entities regarding product policies when necessary, and recommend process/system improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of Call Center experience.
  • 2+ years of Open Enrollment and Medicare experience is REQUIRED.
  • strong leadership qualities, empathy, telephone etiquette and active listening skills.
  • Hardwired Internet Connectionrequired (Wi-Fi is not permitted for compliance reasons).
