As a Security Officer Credential Review in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will manage access control activities, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. You will help to deter incidents through a visible presence while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity, all within a caring culture that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle traffic, maintaining accurate access logs, and reporting suspicious, unusual, and/or unauthorized activity according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
