About this opportunity: We at Ericsson are seeking a Technical Customer Solution Director specialized in 5G/4G Radio Access Network (RAN) software to provide expertise in existing and future RAN SW offerings. This includes software for distributed nodes (purpose-built BBU and Cloud RAN), as well as centralized network management nodes (rApps).

In this role, you will own strategic SW solution areas, addressing demanding customer requirements and aligning them with Ericsson's strategic priorities and software roadmap. You will work closely with Commercial and Delivery organizations as part of the Core 3 team, helping turn customer needs into robust solutions and successful business. What you will do: Be part of a Customer Unit Radio SW program, working closely with customers and Ericsson teams; the role is based in Morristown, New Jersey.

Position Ericsson as a technology leader, communicating and driving Ericsson's technology strategy and vision with customers across headquarters and markets. Manage RAN SW customer requirements, ensuring strategic alignment with Ericsson's relevant Product Lines. Align customer requirements with Ericsson and ecosystem partners to secure end-to-end solution feasibility.

Contribute to knowledge sharing, ensuring the customer vision and strategy - and its implications on Ericsson technology and solutions - is communicated to Business Unit and Product Development Unit stakeholders. Secure timely delivery of critical features, following through the FOA process and implementing short- and mid-term strategies for successful project execution. As a member of the Core 3 team, provide sales support for specific deals: respond to RFx, propose solutions covering customer requirements, and present to internal and external stakeholders.

The skills you bring: More than 10 years of experience in Technical Pre-sales, Development, or Service Delivery (Post-sales) in mobile networks. Deep RAN SW product portfolio knowledge including LTE, NR FDD, NR TDD, and mmW. Familiarity with Ericsson's RAN portfolio, including Radio, Compute HW, Cloud RAN, EIC, and rApps.

Strong understanding of RAN/mobile network deployment scenarios, performance, optimization and related KPIs. Deep understanding of software development processes. Deep understanding of new SW introduction processes with major CSPs, including CI/CD practices.

Understanding of AI models, training processes, and their applicability to AI in RAN.Familiarity with RAN interoperability projects (e.g., device testing, 5G Core integration). Strong team-player mindset, working closely with Sales, Product Management, PDU, Domain and Program Office. Familiarity with AI productivity tools

Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. The salary range for this position is Morristown, NJ: $185,000 - $242,550 Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan.

Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents. Your Financial Security We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay.

When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage.

Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan. Your Time Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually.

Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
