Please note there may be a need for this leader to recruit for other departments such as Sales, Client Services, and Technology, as needed.
  • Act as a full-cycle recruiter for a portfolio of priority roles, including senior leadership and executive positions (e.g., Senior Director, VP), owning search strategy, sourcing, assessment, and offer negotiation.
  • Support and strengthen Cvent’s AI First approach, ensuring AI is at the forefront of TA strategy and execution
  • Manage a high-volume requisition load across multiple functions and levels while ensuring excellent candidate and hiring manager experience and meeting agreed SLAs.
  • Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring plans, ensuring alignment with organizational structure, compensation philosophy, and market realities.
  • Design and execute creative sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, talent communities, referrals, events, associations, and other channels) to proactively build strong, diverse pipelines for both current and future needs.
  • Use data and dashboards to track funnel health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and quality-of-hire, and translate insights into clear actions and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Drive consistency and quality in hiring processes, ensuring structured interviews, timely feedback, and well-run debriefs that lead to thoughtful, evidence-based decisions.
  • Partner with Compensation, HR Operations, and Finance to ensure roles and offers are aligned to internal leveling, budget, and market data, and that necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the hiring process by ensuring inclusive sourcing strategies, structured interviewing, and consistent evaluation criteria.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners (search firms, professional associations, networks) for executive and niche roles, as appropriate.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable employment laws and Cvent recruiting policies, including documentation, data privacy, and job description standards.
Here's What You Need::
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a strong mix of in-house corporate recruiting and leadership experience; prior people management experience (typically 3+ years) leading recruiters and/or sourcers.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting across Marketing and Corporate Shared Services (Finance, HR, Legal, IT, or similar G&A functions), including senior leadership and executive-level roles in a high-growth or enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record managing a high-volume requisition portfolio while maintaining quality of hire, speed, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and build trust with senior leaders, provide market insights, and challenge assumptions constructively.
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruiting (intake, sourcing, screening, assessment, calibration, debrief, offer, and close) and comfort navigating ambiguity and change.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; experience with iCIMS and Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics, diagnose issues, and propose practical solutions and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills, with an ability to articulate Cvent’s value proposition and career opportunities to senior talent.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in hiring practices and experience embedding those principles into sourcing and assessment.
