This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 06:30 - 15:00, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend hours required every other week, and call requirements are on an as-needed basis.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy unit provides comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, working within a collaborative environment to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
  • Assist in the performance of EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to provide optimal care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Endoscopy unit.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
  • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS.
  • Experience with endoscopic procedures is preferred, specifically EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and Bronchoscopy.
