Railserve is hiring dependable and safety-focused Transloaders in Pasadena to support daily transloading and material handling operations within an industrial rail environment. This is a full-time, hands-on day shift role critical to the safe loading, unloading, and movement of products while supporting customer production and operational requirements.

Job Description
The Transloader is responsible for supporting daily railcar loading, unloading, and material handling operations in an active industrial environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are safely transferred, documented, inspected, and loaded according to customer requirements and operational procedures.
Employees work closely with plant operators, site leadership, and fellow team members to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Daily responsibilities include operating loading facilities, performing inspections, monitoring equipment, collecting product samples, and supporting railcar loading activities.
This is a physically active outdoor role requiring strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Previous transloading or industrial experience is helpful but not required.
Railserve promotes from within and provides opportunities for advancement into rail operations, equipment operation, and leadership roles.
Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs
Compensation
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
Duties
• Perform daily equipment inspections and operational checks
• Monitor and operate plant equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain operation of rail loading facilities
• Load and unload LPG railcars according to operating procedures
• Collect product samples and complete required documentation
• Perform minor maintenance and instrumentation repairs
• Prepare equipment for maintenance activities
• Issue work orders as required
• Remove water from knockouts and dryers to designated vessels
• Conduct truck audits and cleaning activities
• Verify railcar numbers against loading documentation
• Confirm railcars have been properly inspected prior to loading
• Verify product source and lot numbers before loading activities
• Communicate regularly with plant operators regarding operational conditions
• Coordinate daily activities and shift turnover information with crew leadership
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times
• Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and customer requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong attendance and dependability required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain and climb rail equipment as required
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy equipment and materials
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Military experience is a plus
