Job description

R. J. Corman Railroad Company is currently seeking a Track Crew member to inspect, install, and maintain railroad track in Lebanon, TN.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspects, installs, and maintains railroad track in an industrial yard setting.
  • Completes required job duties safely and efficiently.
  • Completes all required documentation.
  • Promotes a safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Complete required job duties safely and efficiently.
  • Railroad construction experience preferred.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Ability to communicate well with co-workers, customers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to operate power tools.

Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions. The requirements of this position involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions. Applicant must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull with confined spaces.
