Job description

We are seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics to join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA, specializing in the repair and maintenance of yard mulls, forklifts, rail movers, and container handlers. As a crucial member of our maintenance crew, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues and perform repairs on yard mulls, forklifts, rail movers, container handlers, and other industrial equipment.

Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, and inspections, to ensure equipment longevity and performance. Investigate and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently to minimize equipment downtime. Replace faulty or worn-out components.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Conduct test drives after repairs to validate the effectiveness of the maintenance work and ensure equipment meets operational standards. Requirements: In-depth understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues. Able to weld and fabricate. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

Must have your own set of tools. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR. Should be able to clear a criminal record check and drug screen.

Compensation: $35 - $45/hr. plus bonus, comprehensive benefits including Dental, Health, Vision, and Matching 401K. Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday.
